I played what would be my final gig at the 55 Bar last month. The bar had been in the same location since 1919 and reports of live music taking place there go back to the 1950s. Mike Stern made it a thing in the mid 1980s. Here is a playlist of some videos of me performing there, going back to 2009, my earliest gigs in New York with Com Voce. Included in the list is the “Evoke” Quartet with Mike Moreno, the “Unified” Quartet with Benito Gonzalez as well as the new “Brooklyn Calling” band with Paul Bollenback. A great video with Alexia Bomtempo is featured there as well. Thank you 55 Bar, for all the great work you gave the New York music community!

We had a great gig at the 55 Bar with special guest Jeff Tain Watts. It was the first time Tain played my original tunes and it certainly won’t be the last!

Carnegie Hall Gig/ Grammy Nomination ~ Shine & The Moonbeams
Last year, I recorded “I Believe” a hard-grooving track with an amazing band called Shine & The Moonbeams that was nominated for a Grammy for Best Kid’s album. While we didn’t get the award, we still got to play an unforgettable gig at Carnegie Hall in the Resnick Education wing for some hip youngsters.
