“My son Barry was at the age of 5 and decided that he wanted to learn how to play the piano. Somehow we found Stan and he started coming over and teaching Barry. It wasn’t too long when Barry started playing full songs on the piano and we looked at him with amazement. Stan was always kind and pleasant to have in our home. From there Barry developed a love of music and went on to learning various other instruments and today is part of a band at the age of 13. We always attribute his success in music to Stan and Stan is always invited back to home to teach the rest of our children. Thank you once again Stan for inspiring our children with the love of music.”Jen Neuman Brooklyn, NY
"My son Alex started piano lessons with Stan four years ago. From the beginning, Stan has been patient, kind, and always willing to take lessons to the next level in a creative, age-appropriate way. A few years later, my daughter began lessons at just 4.5 years old. We weren’t sure if she was too young, but she was eager, and Stan made it work. He connected with her through simplicity and fun.Over time, my children have built a relationship with Stan that goes beyond teacher and student. After years of working together, they see him as someone they trust and can rely on. Our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you, Stan!"Steven Sacks MD Houston, TX
"I began taking lessons with Mr. Killian when I was almost 50 years old. I had never taken sax lessons before and had a very limited music background. I truly had no formal training. Mr. Killian’s patience, deep understanding of music, and strong sense of his students’ needs made it possible for me to make progress on the saxophone that I never would have imagined. I would highly recommend him as a teacher for both advanced and beginner saxophone students."Alessandro Petroni & Maria Scordaras Brooklyn, NY
"Stan has been incredibly patient in nurturing my children’s musical curiosity, using a unique approach to discovering and mastering the art of music. He has introduced them to a wide variety of styles, from pop and rock to Christmas carols, classical pieces, and South American tunes. After only three years, my kids are beginning to improvise and harmonize their own short compositions, applying the fundamentals of scales and chords while confidently playing with both hands. Thank you, Stan, for your wonderful work."Stan's Resume
