Let me tell you of the exciting new developments already underway for me this year. First off, I’m releasing my second album for Sunnyside Records called Evoke. It features new original music performed by my quintet of the past year: Mike Moreno guitar, Benito Gonzalez piano, Corcoran Holt bass and McClenty Hunter drums. The music was inspired by my impressions of the pace of life and sounds machinery emanating from New York City. The album artwork, an original painting by Casey Sussman, depicts a moody image of the Flat Iron Building.
Evoke will be released at the end of February in Japan and on March 12 in the U.S. It can be purchased directly on my website as well as on Amazon, iTunes etc.
The second bit of news is that I’m returning to Asia at the end of February and performing a mini tour of Japan and week long stint at the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, China. I’ll go into more details in my next blog post.
